19 Feb Roe v. Wade Coming to the Big Screen
No one knows better than the Right to Life League the incredible power of a well-made pro-life movie.
We became the first investors in the hit film Unplanned precisely because we knew Abby Johnson’s story, passionately brought to the big screen, would open hearts–and save lives.
Now we’d like to spotlight a soon-to-be-released film, Roe v. Wade, that we believe will make just as big an impact.
An all-star cast brings to the big screen the infamous names in the abortion issue: Margaret Sanger, Betty Friedan, Norma McCorvey, and the Supreme Court Justices who made the Roe v. Wade decision.
The teaser (see below) opens with a scene featuring Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight as Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger in the film, then cuts to modern-day news reports about Justice Brett Kavanaugh, including speculation that his appointment will result in overturning the Roe v. Wade decision.
Nick Loeb produced, co-wrote and co-directed Roe v. Wade.
“Everyone is saying Kavanaugh is going to flip the decision and the same thing was said in 1972. There’s actually a lot of parallels between then and now,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Loeb anticipates the film will be released April 2, 2021. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer–and share with your pro-life friends!
